Lunário Perpétuo is a show by Antônio Nóbrega, one of the most important members of the Movimento Armorial. It refers to a literary work of the same name, an important source of inspiration for popular northeastern poets. According to Câmara Cascudo, the Lunário Perpétuo was one of the most read books in northeastern Brazil for two centuries. In contact with the songs and knowledge of popular poets, Antônio Nóbrega learned to love Brazil and, in this popular culture show, he presents songs by cirandeiros, aboiadores, cantadeiras and toadas, continuing his research which started with the Quinteto Armorial group.
